Itinerary

Day 1: Kupang-Arrival-Bipolo (-/L/D)

Upon arrival at Eltari Airport of Kupang our driver will meet you then drive to Bipolo for birding around Bipolo forest. Bipolo is the low land forest and some endemic birds can be seen here such as Timor Fig Bird, Orange side thrush, Timor Oriele, Timor sparrow, fown breasted whisler, Timor blue flycather, Olive shoulder parrot, etc. Late afternoon return to Kupang for stay over night or stay over night at Camplong Missionary Guest House.

Day 2 : Birding Around Camplong (B/L/D)

Full day birding around Camplong forest. This forest is the conversation forest and managed by the local government. Some endemic in Timor can be seen here even difficult such as Timor Stubtail, Black Banded flycatcher, spot breasted dark eye, Timor bush chat, Tree colored parrot finch, Timor Black Pigeon, Timor friar bird, plain gerygone, etc. Afternoon return to Guest House.

Day 3 : Morning Birding Around Bipolo then drive to Soe (B/L/D)

Morning birding around Bipolo for looking some birds perhaps missed in the first day, then before lunch time ascend drive to Soe. Upon arrival check-in to Bahagia 2 hotel for having lunch. Afternoon birding around birding around Oelnasi forest with main target bird such as Barred necked cuckcodove, Timor Black Pigoen, Streak breasted honey eater, Rose Crowned fruit dove, Barred dove, red jungle fowl, etc. Late afternoon looking for Southern boobook, and Timor Nightjaar. Return to your hotel.

Day 4 : Mount Mutis Full Day Birding (B/L/D)

Early departure to Fatumnasi the main village close Mt Mutis. Morning birding around clearance on right part of the mountain, the main target birds are Island Thrush, Metalic Pigeon, Black Pigeon, and the most difficult one Timor Imperial Pigeon, Pygmy wren babler, Olive headed lorikeet, After lunch continue our birding in the left side on the mountain with target birds such as Timor Parrot Finch, Olive Shouldered parrot, Irish Lorikeet, Timor Black Pigeon, etc. Afternoon return to your hotel in Soe.

Day 5 : Morning birding Oelnasi and afternoon return to Kupang (B/L/D)

Morning birding around Oelnasi forest to try to see some birds which have not been seen. After that drive back to Kupang with stop at Noelbaki beach to see some weavers such Beach Thick nee, Australian pelican, red capped plover, etc. Late afternoon continue drive to Kupang then check-in to your hotel for accommodation.

Day 6 : Kupang – out (B/-/D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Eltari Airport for flight to your next destination.
